O Audit Process

We, at FundBritish Foundation, are aware that we have a significant legal and financial responsibility towards society and, Therefore, we submit our accounts to an external audit each year.

Being audited involves analysing the legality and regularity of all our operations and processes. It means that the organisation’s financial position, as well as its accounting and legal aspects, have been verified and are in compliance with current legislation.

The process is carried out by qualified, diligent and impartial professionals who possess legal expertise in accounting and knowledge in other related areas, with the aim of identifying the necessary elements to form the basis of their analysis.

A BDO

The process at FBB is carried out by the company BDO, which is one of the world’s largest accounting networks, operating in over 130 countries. BDO is part of a select group, the ‘Big 5’ , which refers to the five largest accountancy firms specialising in audit and consultancy worldwide. Also part of this group are EY, PwC, Deloitte and KPMG.

A BDO in Brazil has 1,500 professionals specialising in providing services to small, medium and large enterprises across a wide range of sectors. Its mission is mission "to assist companies in finding and implementing the best solutions for successful management, whilst acting with responsibility and credibility".

As well as being part of the Big 5 and having been voted the most admired company in Audit, Consultancy and Accountancy, is also a leader in the Middle Market – the segment comprising small and medium-sized enterprises – where it has established a strong presence in the domestic market. It has even won a number of awards, including: Best Company in Auditoria Circulation and Distribution, Most Admired Company in AAudit , Consultancy and Accountancy 2012, International Tax Advisor of the Year 2012 (International Tax Adviser of the Year 2012), Best Collaboration Across International Frontiers (Best Collaboration Across International Frontiers International).

The procedure requires the FBB to implement and use effective, monitored controls, and brings with it many advantages, particularly in terms of oversight and transparency.
