FBB takes part in the first Arraial do Mercadão in São Paulo

Last weekend, on 30 and 31 July, the British Charitable Foundation took part in the first ‘Arraial do Mercadão’, a June festival at São Paulo’s Municipal Market. The charity event invited a number of organisations and NGOs to sell traditional foods and organise June festivities. The Foundation was responsible for organising the “Correio Elegante” initiative.

During the two days of festivities, our team and some elderly participants in our projects delivered dozens of personalised cards with messages of love and affection. In addition to the card, the recipients also received a chocolate and a very special welcome from our team. It was great fun!

We would like to thank everyone who was able to take part in the party and who came to our stall to lend a hand.
