British Society SP brings the British community together at its second annual barbecue

On Saturday 26 September, the British community came together for yet another barbecue organised by the British Society SP. The event, held at St Paul’s School, was attended by around 60 people. Andrew Greenlees, President of the British Charitable Foundation and the British Society SP, and FBB directors Charlotte Cowell and Kieran McManus were among the guests in attendance.

The event, which has become a tradition within the British community, aims to celebrate and strengthen the bonds between its members. One of the most entertaining moments of the afternoon was the raffle draw, a tradition that has also become a regular feature of the British Society’s barbecues. Prizes included a weekend in Ilhabela, chocolates, whisky, bottles of wine, a sandwich maker and a set of glasses. As well as the raffle and the barbecue, the event also featured a second-hand book fair.

The British Society SP would like to thank St Paul’s School once again for its sponsorship and partnership. All proceeds from the sale of tickets and raffle tickets for the barbecue will be donated to the Fundação Britânica de Beneficência.
