Health Concierge, a company that acts as a strategic partner to healthcare providers, health insurance schemes and HR departments for the management and responsible use of healthcare resources, has entered into a partnership with the British Charitable Foundation. Through technology and professional support, healthtech will monitor the FBB’s beneficiaries, ensuring primary care and better use of resources

“Saúde Concierge’s objective will be to manage the health of these elderly people, providing a team of healthcare professionals who offer a personalised and compassionate service, taking into account the habits of their beneficiaries. This medical and management support will give the Foundation greater freedom to focus on care “the social well-being of older people, which will also result in a better quality of life for those receiving care,” says Tatiana Giatti, executive director of Saúde Concierge.

A healthcare management at FBB

The Foundation already has an established partnership with the Samaritano Association for tests and consultations at the hospital of the same name. Saúde Concierge’s work, meanwhile, will focus on primary care. Through its integrated system, healthtech will receive real-time patient information, 24 hours a day. Using Big Data, Artificial Intelligence and a multidisciplinary team, the company will work with the Foundation to define the key targets for patient care improvement.

“The partnership with Saúde Concierge begins on Cuidar Programme, which serves 45 beneficiaries and involves support and transport to medical appointments and treatments. “We want to improve the healthcare management of these elderly people so that their quality of life is even better,” explains Ricardo Rosado, Institutional Development Coordinator at the British Charitable Foundation.

The professional team at Saúde Concierge comprises GPs, geriatricians, nurses, cardiologists, nutritionists and physiotherapists, amongst other healthcare professionals, who will be available to the Foundation’s beneficiaries. The professional caring for the patient will already have access to the information in the system and can therefore be much more effective in providing guidance, answering queries or recommending a course of action. During remote consultations, the team The nursing team will assess the patient’s symptoms and check whether they are following the recommendations in line with their clinical condition, to ensure continuity of care even when the doctor is not present.

“Our work will be carried out through multiple channels, and this real-time management and monitoring of the care being provided will ensure the quality of treatment. We aim to provide a technical assessment of these beneficiaries’ clinical conditions, build up a health record and draw up a joint action plan with the Foundation to improve their quality of life, whilst also optimising resources,” explains Tatiana Giatti, Executive Director of Saúde Concierge.
