On 22 September, the Senior Citizens’ Community Centre organised SPYC DAY 2023, a very special day for the elderly people who are part of our projects.
Early in the morning, a group of around 100 elderly people gathered at the FBB headquarters in Pinheiros and travelled by chartered coach to the São Paulo Yacht Club, a club for the British community situated on the banks of the Guarapiranga Reservoir.
On arrival, a lavish breakfast spread was already waiting for the group. And throughout the day, with the support of our entire Welfare team and CCI teachers, the elderly residents learnt and had a great time with a packed programme that included yoga classes, painting, circle dancing, games, a delicious lunch and an unforgettable sailing trip on the reservoir. All this on a beautiful, sunny day!
